Please, accept our best wishes for the newly started academic year. We are happy to announce that, due to numerous requests, the deadline for the 4th International Conference “Neurobiology of Speech and Language” is extended till September 15, 2020!
The 4th International Neurobiology of Speech and Language Conference will be taking place on 13th – 14th November 2020, this year online only. Due to the current COVID-19 situation we are trying a new format, but our scientific scope remains, as always, rich and varied.
In the middle of November the Laboratory of Behavioural Neurodynamics (Saint Petersburg State University) will host the 2-day-long interactive online conference on a wide range of topics including the neurobiology and psychology of speech and language, second language acquisition and development, brain processes underlying language and other symbolic systems, such as music, and many others.
The programme of this year promises to be compelling as the following leading experts are giving their keynotes:
Mari Tervaniemi (University of Helsinki, Finland)
Kira Gor (University of Maryland, USA)
Olga Dragoy (Higher School of Economics, Russia)
The working language of the conference is English, no translation services will be offered.
Participation is free, but places are limited and registration is obligatory.

The abstract submission deadline is September 15, 2020.
Abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed, and selected abstracts will be nominated for oral presentations (approx. 15 min) or flash talks, a new format we are trying this year (approx. 3 min). The abstract size is limited to 2500 characters including spaces (no tables or graphs). Each submission should include the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. We expect to notify all authors on acceptance/rejection by the end of September.
This year, when many conferences are being cancelled due to the COVID-19, participation in our conference gives a rare chance to be published. All the conference abstracts will be indexed in elibrary.ru database (РИНЦ).
